A clearer plan for taking the tree down
Method matched to space
We choose between felling and sectional removal after reviewing the drop area.
Nearby features considered
We plan around sheds, fences and planting instead of discovering them midway.
Stump options explained
We can discuss grinding when you want to put the cleared ground back into use.
When keeping the tree no longer works
A tree may have become unstable, badly declined or too damaged to retain. Sometimes its position is the problem: roots, branches or the trunk may conflict with a building, boundary or the only useful part of a small garden. We begin by looking at the tree's size, condition and lean, along with the space around it. Access matters too. A narrow side gate or greenhouse beneath the canopy changes what can be moved and where. From there, we plan a tree removal service around the site rather than treating every tree in the same way.

A removal method suited to the site
Where there is suitable open space, directional felling may allow a tree to come down in one controlled piece. In tighter gardens, we may need to dismantle it in sections and manage branches and timber in stages. Before starting, we agree the working area and how the resulting material will be handled. If you want to replant, lay grass or simply stop mowing around the remaining base, we can also discuss the separate stump grinding service. Extra help can be brought in where a larger operation needs more hands.
Frequently asked questions
Can a tree be removed from a small rear garden?
It may be possible even when there isn't room to fell it in one piece. We assess gate widths, the route through the property and what sits below the canopy. Sectional dismantling can then be considered, with branches and timber managed in smaller parts.
What happens to the branches and timber afterwards?
We discuss this before work starts because the amount and type of material vary greatly between trees. The agreed scope can cover how branches, logs and other arisings will be collected, moved through the property and handled after removal.
Will removing the tree also remove its stump?
Tree removal and stump grinding are separate tasks. Felling usually leaves the stump and root system in the ground. If you want to mow, plant or change the area afterwards, tell us the intended use so we can discuss a suitable grinding depth.
